BootApp is for small and growing businesses that want to use AI, apps and automation but don't have a big-business budget or a tech team.
You don't need to be technical. You can have things built for you, work alongside us, or be set up to do it yourself.

How much does it cost?
Running costs are almost nothing. A site like BootApp.uk runs on Cloudflare and, at small scale, stays within its free limits. The one fixed cost is your domain name, a small yearly fee.
Building is separate and depends on what you want and whether we build it for you or set you up to do it yourself. We'll always tell you the cost before anything starts, and we never spend your money without your yes.

What is the free mapping call, and how do I book it?
The mapping call is free, takes about 15 minutes, and has no obligation.
You tell us about your business and what you'd love it to do. We ask a few questions and map out what would actually help, what you could do yourself, and what you don't need at all.
To book: send us a message on the contact page, mention "mapping call" and a couple of times that suit you.
Can you build it for me, or can I do it myself?
Both are fine. Every project can be:
- Done for you: we plan it, build it and keep it running.
- Done with you: you stay closely involved and we do the heavy lifting.
- Done by you: we set you up (your accounts, domain and tools) and give you plain-English tips and shortcuts.

Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can follow step-by-step instructions, you can do it. Our guides explain things in plain English, with the exact menus to click.

How long does a build take?
We build in days, not months, and we don't charge you for steps you don't need.
How long exactly depends on what you want. Big ideas are split into phases, so the parts that get you live and working come first. We'll give you a realistic idea on the free mapping call.

What is Ask Archie, and how does it relate to BootApp?
Ask Archie is the brain, BootApp is the engine.
- Ask Archie (askarchie.net) plans: it turns ideas into clear briefs, split into phases, with decisions written down.
- BootApp is the side that talks with you, handles enquiries, and builds and runs what's been planned.
Planning and building are kept apart so neither is rushed.
How do I sign up or log in?
Go to your account page.
- With email: choose Sign up and confirm your email using the link we send you.
- With Google: choose Continue with Google. If you already have an account with the same email address, the two are linked.

I forgot my password. What do I do?
On the log-in page choose Forgot your password? and enter your email. We'll send a reset link that lasts one hour and works once.
Nothing arrived? Check your Junk folder (see I didn't get my confirmation or reset email). Still stuck? Contact us.
I didn't get my confirmation or reset email
First, check your Junk or Spam folder. Our emails can land there, especially with Outlook, because the domain is new. If you find it, marking it Not junk helps future emails arrive in your inbox.
Still nothing after a few minutes?
- On the log-in form, ask for the email to be sent again (there's a short wait between sends).
- Check you typed your email address correctly.
- Contact us and we'll help.
How do I turn on two-factor login?
Two-factor login asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) when you log in, so your account stays safe even if someone learns your password.
Open your account page and find Two-factor login, if it's available on your account.

How do I delete my account?
At the bottom of your account page, choose Delete your account. You'll confirm with your password (or your email, if you signed up with Google) and your app code if two-factor is on.
It removes your account, your messages and your newsletter subscription. It can't be undone.

Do you use cookies or tracking?
- Only the cookies the site needs to work, such as the one that keeps you logged in.
- No advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there's no cookie banner.
- We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.

What data do you keep, and why?
- Your account details, so you can log in.
- Messages you send, so we can reply.
- Your newsletter choice, which you can change at any time.
- Security records (such as log-ins), kept for 90 days to keep the site safe.
We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
You can update your details or delete your account yourself on your account page. Full detail: privacy policy.
How do I stop (or start) getting your emails?
Open your account page and use Email preferences to turn news and offers on or off. Every newsletter also has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Newsletters only go to people who have confirmed their email and chosen to receive them.
How will you reply to my message?
We reply to the email address you give us on the contact page. If you were logged in when you sent your message, our reply also appears on your account page.
If nothing has arrived, check your Junk folder.
What technology do you use, and is it secure?
Every site we build starts from the same simple engine: Visitor → Cloudflare Worker → static assets and a D1 database. No servers, no containers.
On security: salted password hashes, secure session cookies, optional sign-in with Google, optional two-factor login, rate limiting on log-ins and forms, and security headers on every page. Every version is kept, so a bad change can be rolled back.
