What does it cost to run a site like BootApp?

A site like BootApp runs within Cloudflare's free limits at small scale. The only fixed cost is the yearly domain fee.

Updated 10 October 2026

Running costs are almost nothing. BootApp.uk runs on Cloudflare Workers, the D1 database and static assets, and at this size all three sit within Cloudflare's free limits.

What you pay for

  • Your domain name, a small yearly fee.
  • Extra services only if you choose them. For example, a service for sending newsletters, or paid AI tools. We'll always tell you the cost first.

What you don't pay for

  • No monthly hosting bill at this scale.
  • No server to patch or maintain.
  • No plugin subscriptions or security add-ons to keep a website standing.

Compare that with £50 to £200 a month that many businesses pay for typical WordPress hosting, plugins and security patches.

What about building it?

Building is separate from running. That depends on what you want, and whether we build it for you or set you up to do it yourself. The free mapping call is the place to talk about it, and you'll know the cost before anything starts.

As you grow

If your site gets very busy, Cloudflare's paid plans start low and scale with use. We'll tell you well before you get anywhere near the free limits.
